‘Photo Gallery

Photo Gallery The Bird of Morning’ is my first collection of poems. I live in South London and am an artist, poet and singer songwriter. I have narrated and performed my poems and songs all over London in the last ten years, often as part of ‘Survivors’ poetry and music nights at the Poetry café in Covent Garden, London. For many years I have hosted and performed at my own diverse nights of poetry, music and dance, ‘Voices of Experience’ in HeartsSong  guise, with musician and dancer friends, Lawrence Renee and Huma Sibtain. In 2012 my mischievous performance piece and verse drama ‘When Woman created the World’ was presented at Rich Mix in Shoreditch with the involvement of four actors and myself.  In the same year I had a one woman exhibition of digital prints, drawings and paintings in Warburton, Australia. (Close to where my parents and brothers live.) I have just followed this up with another exhibition ‘In the Beginning’ at House gallery/café in Camberwell, South East London.  Presently I am looking to develop further ‘When Woman created the World’ and another comic/tragic verse drama and musical (described as an epic pantomime) ‘When I am gone’ about the life of the Buddha and the human search for understanding and meaning.
